Joseph Blackmon, M.D.

Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, Dr. Joseph Blackmon obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisville in 2006. He earned his M.D. with High Distinction from the University of Kentucky in 2010 and was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Kansas in 2014. Dr. Blackmon pursued additional training in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) through an ACGME-accredited Fellowship with Dr. Heidi Donnelly in Dayton, Ohio. He is Double Board-Certified in Dermatology & Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Blackmon joined Paducah Dermatology in 2021. He has performed over 18,000 Mohs Micrographic Surgery cases in his career thus far and is excited to be back in his hometown of Paducah to provide exceptional, high-quality care for his patients here at Paducah Dermatology.
